Regarding the posting I forwarded about the disposal of USGS maps:

The Survey is not simply dumping the maps.  They have a process to evaluate
their map stock and reprinting priorities.  Elle Brouwer of the Survey will
pass that information onto me in the next few days, so that we know all the
facts.

Please do not send emails or letters until you hear the rest of the story!
