NHM Network Problems & PaleoNet

As "many" of you noticed PaleoNet has been offline for the last few weeks.
This was due to unanticipated complications that arose as a result of the
NHM's upgrade of its network server hardware on 28 Nov. This disruption
affected virtually all of the Museum's network services (e.g., ftp, e-mail,
www pages) and, unfortunately, it took some time to get everything up and
running correctly again. In any event PaleoNet is back online and over the
coming week I will be posting all of the back mail PaleoNet received over
the last two weeks. If you tried to post an item to PaleoNet during that
time pleas feel free to repost it (if that is possible). The PaleoNet Pages
are also up now and working correctly.  Please accept our apology for this
unanticipated disruption in PaleoNet service.
