NAPC Database Demonstrations

If demand warrants the organizers of the upcoming NAPC '96 meeting have
agreed to reserve a small room in the Ripley center where demonstrations of
paleontological database software could be held. These demonstrations would
take place during the afternoon; after the NAPC database theme session
(which would take place during the morning). Hopefully many of the
contributors to that theme session would be able to demonstrate their
databases and/or ideas for database organization/implementation during this
demonstration time. Individuals who are not planning to contribute to the
theme session (e.g., are presenting a paper in another session), but would
like to demonstrate database-related software are also welcome to
contribute to the demonstration session. Computers on which to carry out
the demonstrations will NOT be provided by NAPC or the Smithsonian.

If you would like to participate in the database demonstration session,
please contact me by phone, fax, letter, or (preferably) e-mail.
