Dear PaleoNetters I am interested in the collections and publications of John Romilly Allen a former Editor of "Archaeologia Cambriensis". He amassed a large Fossil and Archaeological Collection from the Caves of South Wales, England and France, much of which was collected whilst still a school boy at "Rugby School" Rugby, Warwickshire, UK. I am aware that some of Fossil Collection is still in Rugby Schools Natural History Museums Collection, However, I would like to track down any other material that was donated by him or his family to other Institutions and Museums along with any of his Publications. His native home was Narberth, near Tenby in South Wales and his life spanned the 19th Century. Any information would be much appreciated. regards B.
