Dr. Norton:
        Most paleontologists are scientists, just like you (I presume), who
use the scientific method to generate and test hypotheses.  I am dismayed
that you seem to think we are in a field based on "informed speculation,"
and also amused to see that you are asking for assistance from the same
group of scientists you apparently don't realize you've insulted.  Think
before you write, please.
