BELOIT COLLEGE
Sabbatical Replacement

Beloit College announces an opening for a one-semester sabbatical
replacement in the Department of Geology; the position begins 11 January
1996 and ends 10 May 1996.  Teaching duties will include two courses:
Evolution of the Earth (introductory course in historical geology) and
Paleontology.  These courses include weekly laboratory sessions and
occasional field trips.  Ph.D. preferred, ABD considered.

Beloit College, a selective undergraduate liberal arts college with an
enrollment of 1,100 students, emphasizes excellence in teaching, breadth
and versatility in its faculty, and student-faculty research.  The city of
Beloit is located in southern Wisconsin, close to Madison, Milwaukee, and
