Dear Eryops,

Hello there. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm a graduate paleo
student at Texas Tech University. Funny you should mention that you are
involved with Triassic phytosaurs. My thesis concenrs these rather
interesting critters. The issue is the validity of phytosaur
biostratigraphic zones of the Dockum Group of West Texas. A side issue is
the phylogeny of phytosaurs.
Anyway, Dr. Chatterjee (you may have heard of him), my advisor, has
given me some references and shown my some of the specimens here at our museum.
do you have any suggestions for literature and fossils?

                        Thanks a lot,

                                        Eric Simpson
