THE MAIN CONTENTS INCLUDE: Descriptions of pollen morphology, and their

In this book, the authors systematically described the morphology of
spores of over 1000 species representing 175 genera and 52 families.
The illustrations include 119 text-figures (line-drawings) of spore
types, 89 plates of photomicrographs of extant spores, and 12 plates
of fossil spores. The main contents are: geographic distribution of
extant pteridophytes in China; distribution of fossil fern spores in
geological periods; general spore morphology of pteridophytes;
spore types of pteridophytes; description of spore morphology in
all families of pteridophytes.
