Re:Newspapers and **Dinosaurs**

>>>> let's get some facts and figures here: James Ussher (two S's), 1581-
1665AD, Archbishop of Armagh, and 4004BC, not 4400BC. Why the odd four
years, why not a straight 4000? Want to know more? then find out in:

William R. Brice 1982 Bishop Ussher, John Lightfoot and the Age of Creation.
Journal of Geological Education, volume 30, no. 1, pp 18-24, 7 figs
including a portrait of James Ussher (and good bibliography)

and let's have a little less of these Lutheran heresies!

If anyone at the NASA computer isn't too busy, maybe they could run Time
backwards to check if October 22nd and 23rd, 4004BC, really
were Saturday and Sunday, compensating for Julian and Gregorian
calendars, natch <<<<
