Welcome to the PALEOBOT mail list. This list is intended for discussions of
paleobotanical matters. It is maintained as a service to the Paleobotanical
Section, Botanical Society of America. Members of this Section and all
others interested in fossil plants are urged to make use of the list.
Questions, comments or announcements regarding anything related to fossil
plants is appropriate content for this list. Critical comments regarding
published papers or other postings to the list are also fair material.
Personal attacks, speculation regarding pedigree or cranial capacity of
others is not appropriate content and is not welcomed. Announcements of
symposia, workshops or other meetings are welcomed. However, please keep
such announcements terse and provide an e-mail address for full details and
descriptions.

If you set your e-mail to send an automatic message in response to each
new mail item, please set your subscription to NOMAIL as noted in the
accompanying general instructions before you start the automatic responses.
