I understand that the budget axe has fallen in the last few weeks at the
USGS and I find myself wondering what got cut, what survived, and what it
all means for paleo. in the short and long terms. Can anyone out there
give us an overview? What conclusions can (or should) we draw from the
pattern of cuts and what lessons are there to be learned?
