Dear Bruce,
  First, thanks very much for your very helpful review of the VEJ ms. It
has certainly helped us clarify some points which were not as clear as
we would have liked, as well as pointing out some other errors.
  AS far as the NAPC symposium, it is not to late at all!  Brian and I
had different messages from you and had to work out who heard what when.
As it stands now, there is a slot for an Ediacaran symp. if you want to
do it (and I'll be happy to help all I can, it any is needed).  Everyone
thought it was a fine idea and left it to me and Brian to see if you
wanted to do it.
