3D reconstruction

I am seeking a way of reconstructing and viewing, and perhaps measuring,
3d objects from serial sections, ideally with a PC or Mac.  The particular
application is cell structures from micrographs (or line drawings of
micrographs), but programs for any problem could be useful. Advice very
welcome!
