As far as Mickey Rowe's post about Speaker Gingrich's e-mail is concerned,

I cannot reply to the supposition about his alleged paleontology major but I
do know he teaches American History and holds a degree in same (according to
ABC News). Maybe we should all appeal to his sense of history when we
 contact him!
