We are currently promoting our Manitoba Paleontology Symposium in September 2007. The event is hosted by the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre in the town of Morden, of Southern Manitoba. Our museum is the custodian of the biggest collection of marine reptile fossils from the Late Cretaceous, we continue to discover notable finds within the beautiful Pembina Hills along the Manitoba Escarpment. The symposium will have various keynote speakers with opportunities for displays and presentations, there is an Expo with all the latest tools, supplies and gadgetry. The final day will culminate with a morning field trip to the fossil rich escarpment followed by a BBQ and then a farewell. Please check the home page of our website www.discoverfossils.com for further and better particulars, there is a registration form too. Alternatively, please call Anita-Maria Janzic, our curator. I urge you to pass the details on to your colleagues.
