Aloha, Lindsey From: Scott Rugh [mailto:srugh@sdnhm.org] Sent: Monday, October 02, 2006 4:17 PM Subject: SCUM 2007 Coming Up: January 20 Dear Fellow SCUM Attendee/Member, The eleventh annual meeting of Southern California Unified Malacologists is only a few months away, and will be held at the San Diego Natural History Museum on January 20, 2007 at 9:00 A.M. The purpose of this e-mail is to let you know the date so you can reserve it on your calendar. We look forward to seeing you here for the first SCUM meeting hosted at the Museum. In addition to seeing friends and colleagues' you haven't seen since the meeting in Santa Barbara, you will have an opportunity to tour our recently expanded facility and the new fossil exhibit, "Fossil Mysteries," featuring both vertebrate and invertebrate fossils collected and prepared by the Museum's Paleontology staff over the last 25 years. For this meeting we will be following the traditional format with personal introductions at the beginning of the meeting followed by more formal presentations. In the interest of fitting every speaker in the schedule, we ask that you plan to keep your presentation to no longer than 15 minutes. For more information, or if you wish to RSVP early contact: N.
