Hello, Are you objecting to generals and other opportunists, or to the email volume that is generated by the broadcasting of reprints (or preprints or culled volumes of forgotten lore), or to the fact that when you hit REPLY in your emailer it automatically replies to the list and not to the author to whom you wanted to reply in the first place, or to the manors of those broadcasting a personal message to the entire list? The REPLY TO address is set by paleonet to be paleonet itself, so we should all remember to force the intended recipient's address when we intend to reply offlist. And it is not unreasonable for us to "me too!" offlist instead of onlist. (I too want to read that paper, but I've not "me too"-ed yet). On an unrealted note: Hey Judith!
