paleonet PROGRESSIVE PALAEONTOLOGY 2006

Dear all,

PROGRESSIVE PALAEONTOLOGY 2006

Progressive Palaeontology is an annual conference for graduate students
engaged in any aspect of palaeontological research. The conference is
organised by graduates for graduates, and is a great opportunity to give
a talk or poster to a small and friendly audience of your peers. The
conference lasts for one day, followed by a one-day fieldtrip, and
registration is free.

This year, Progressive Palaeontology will be held at the Department of
Earth Sciences, University of Cambridge, on 22nd of June. Thanks to
support from Palass, Oxford University Press and the Sedgwick Museum,
the day includes a free lunch, reception in the Sedgwick Museum, and a
subsidised conference dinner at Selwyn College. The fieldtrip will take
place on 23rd June, and we will be visiting Oxford Clay localities at
Whittlesea, near Peterborough.

Registration and abstract submission, plus more information on the
conference, can be found on our webpages at www.palass.org. Click on the
link in the left hand toolbar.

Regards,

The Progressive Palaeontology 2006 Committee
