Best wishes, Jonathan Hendricks --------------------- The Midwest Symposium of Student Paleontological Research (MSSPR) Third Annual Conference will occur March 31st to April 2nd at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. We want your abstracts if you are a student (graduate or undergraduate) doing paleontology-related research at any school in the Midwest. The abstract deadline is March 3rd, 2006 at 11:59pm. Abstract guidelines and submission forms are at http://www.msspr.net/abstracts.html. We have an exciting conference planned, including a tour of the paleontology facilities at the 3rd ranked paleontology school in the country, a panel discussion entitled "Evolution and Education: What can students do about it?" featuring Dr. Bruce Lieberman, Dr. Ed Wiley, and Teresa MacDonald, a field trip to the important Pennsylvanian-age locality of Hamilton Quarry, and a keynote lecture by the famous vertebrate paleontologist Dr. Larry Martin!
