RE: paleonet meaning of "partim"

Steve,

"Partim" is a Latin form of "part", so I believe part of material
described as _Ingenia yanshini_ by Barsbold (1981) is now identified as
_Conchoraptor gracilis_ Barsbold, 1986, by Weishampel, Dodson, and
Osmolska. Please correct me if I misinterpreted it.

Regards,
Kenshu

Subject: paleonet meaning of "partim"

Can anyone tell me what the term "partim" refers to? For instance, in
_The
Dinosauria_ by Weishampel, Dodson, and Osmolska (2ed), the entry for
Conchoraptor gracilis reads

_Conchoraptor gracilis_ Barsbold, 1986 (including _Ingenia yanshini_
Barsbold, 1981 _partim_)

Thanks!

Steve
