paleonet Paleo Resources for Developing Countries

In the spirit of the holiday season, and in support of paleontologists 
in developing countries, where financial resources are often far more 
limited for paleo than in places like the UK, US, Canada, or EU,and 
finally, to introduce a new topic, let me ask if subscribers to 
paleonet could contribute to a list of government agencies, 
foundations, and institutions that might provide financial support for 
colleagues in developing countries to (1) pursue paleo research in home 
countries, (2) visit museum collections in other countries, (3) 
collaborate with colleagues in other countries, and (4) pursue graduate 
degrees in other countries. For my own colleagues in Peru, finding 
these avenues for funding has been difficult and, mostly, inefficient. 
A single web-based list would be a great asset.

If such a master list already exists, I would like to pass along its 
location to these South American collaborators.

I saw some paleontology going around once.  It was a couple of people
attacking each other over the orientation of fossils on a display.  
Actually
I think I saw that twice in just the last 3 months or so.
