Dear colleagues: In case you haven't heard, a new electronic geology journal has recently come online - Geosphere. http://www.gsajournals.org/gsaonline/?request=get-current-toc&issn=1553-040X It is a pleasure to have another journal online that is sponsored by a not-for-profit society, giving us all publishing options that don't strain our library or personal research budgets, and which extend beyond the realm of paleontological publishing. The journal is broad in its scope, well laid out, and backed by a diverse team of geoscientists. Welcome Geosphere! Whitey Hagadorn & P. David Polly Executive Editors, Palaeontologia Electronica http://palaeo-electronica.org ___________________________________________________________________ From 8/15/05 - 9/1/06, I will be on sabbatical at: Department of Geology & Geophysics Yale University New Haven, CT 06520-8109 http://www.amherst.edu/~jwhagadorn ... like a lightswitch ... ___________________________________________________________________
