Post-Doctoral Research Assistant

£23,774 - £26,954 p.a. dependent on age/experience - London
The Museum is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant for a two year
fixed term NERC-funded appointment to conduct research into the interactions
between herbivorous dinosaurs and potential food plants using Geographical
Information Systems (GIS).

You will have a PhD in either palaeobiology, earth sciences, biological
sciences or physical geography and experience of analysing a wide range of
geological/palaeontological and/or biological data. Other desirable
qualities include experience with either GIS or geostatistical analytical
techniques. You will have good scientific communication skills and the
ability to work as an independent researcher.

You will be jointly based in the Departments of Palaeontology and Botany
under the supervision of Dr Paul Barrett, Dr Paul Kenrick and Dr Malcolm
Penn.
