paleonet taphonomy pyrite fossils



Dear colleagues,

I'm working on Maastrichtian ammonite bearing localities in Tunisia,
where almost all specimens are small pyritic inner nuclei (<25mm),
without their bodychamber preserved.
I’m looking for people and papers dealing with taphonomy and
paleo-ecology of ammonite/ammonoid bearing sections where all/most
specimens are small, and without bodychamber preserved,
