paleonet CALL FOR ABSTRACTS--PGA session at 2005 GSA Annual Meeting

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to submit an abstract for a technical session devoted to the
evolution and fossil history of non-marine arthropods (i.e., insects,
"arachnids," myriapods, eurypterids, euthycarcinoids, some crustaceans).
The session will be held at the Geological Society of America (GSA) Annual
Meeting, October 16-19, at Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The session is
organized by PaleoGeoArthropoda (PGA), a website for professional
researchers interested in non-marine arthropods at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/paleogeoarthropoda/

Since 2001, the GSA Annual Meeting has represented the largest annual
gathering of PGA researchers in North America, including more than 60
abstracts! The PGA session is co-sponsored by the Paleontological Society,
Limnogeology Division of GSA, and Geobiology & Microbiology Division of GSA.
The session will include 4 invited speakers and at least 8 volunteer
speakers.

The abstract deadline is July 12. To submit an abstract, please visit the
GSA website at http://www.geosociety.org/ If anyone has questions or
comments, please contact me anytime.

Best Regards,
