Re: paleonet Kent Hovind lecture

They travel all over the world. Don't assume your city/country/etc. is safe. For that matter, some prominent young-earth advocates currently operating out of the U.S. came from other countries-we're not just an exporter.

Hovind is so irresponsible that other young earthers, such as Answers in Genesis has complaints about him. E.g.

http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2002/1011hovind.asp

However, this website falsely claims that Answers in Genesis presents quality arguments. The retractions on the list of arguments that Answers in Genesis admits are bad do not necessarily accurately represent what led to the retraction (e.g., claiming that young earthers examining new evidence is repsonsible for the change when their source makes it clear that the evidence is not new and the problem was pointed out by old earthers for decades.) The only advantage in citing the Answers in Genesis objections to Hovind is that it might carry weight with an audience unwilling to listen to more reliable sources.
