Rueben
J. Ross, Jr. past away Wednesday,
March 23, 2005, after several years of
declining health. Rube is best known for his work on trilobites, as well as
with Ordovician global correlations. He was involved with Pete Palmer and Mike
Taylor in the USGS trilobite database. He was president of the Colorado
Scientific Society and an active Research Associate at the Denver
Museum
of Nature & Science, especially after his retirement from the US Geological
Survey.
