Re: paleonet Optimized for Chewing

Thanks Bill. For Multirregionalism versus Out of Africa see
http://www.cartage.org.lb/en/themes/Sciences/LifeScience/PhysicalAnthropology/HumanGeneticEvolution/EarlyModern/EarlyModern.htm

As for the book, I do not think that is that one, since the Primer of Biomechanics is not new and is about the skeleton and joints, while that the one reviewed in Science mag is presumably new, and it says there "Lucas builds his account of the function and evolution of mammalian teeth around considerations of how teeth adapt to diet (in particular, around analysis of how food particles fracture"

Google Scholar.  Of course.  Thanks.

In a recent issue of sciencemag there was a review of a book by "Lucas", the title of the review (or perhaps of the book??) was "Biomechanics: Optimized for Chewing". Does anyone of you know where has this book been published, the full name of the author and of title of the book? I am very interested in it but can't find it in the internet.

Primer of Biomechanics by G.L. Lucas et al. was published by Springer Verlag in 1999, if that helps.
