The purpose of this list is to communicate on scientific issues, but social
issues related to creationism have co-opted the list to the extent that well
over half the notes are ID threads.  ID and creationism are serious issues
that merrit attention of scientists, but there are other lists dedicated to
these ideas.  I hope people concerned will visit those lists instead, before
paleonet looses its primary audience and role.
