Re: paleonet More Nonsense: US school's new challenge to Darwin

As a science teacher who was trained as a micropalaeontologist and tempered
in the crucible of evolutionary philosophy, I fully understand the pressures
that the creationists can apply. When I was approached by school
administration and told to "tone down" my teaching of evolution, I resigned
and went to work for an energy company. Not only did I get paid a LOT more,
but they also at least, believe in evolution! I could not sacrifice my
integrity to the creationist day dream. But, what else can be expected in a
country that elects the village idiot as its leader?
