paleonet Still time to submit abstracts for MSSPR 2005

Attention students!

Its not too late to submit your abstract to the Midwest Symposium of 
Student Paleo Research.

Our deadline is Midnight Monday night, February 7th.  Submission is online 
at our webpage, http://www.msspr.net.

MSSPR gives students a great opportunity to practice giving public talks 
before larger, high-stress events such as the annual meetings of GSA and 
SVP.  Students just beginning research are also welcome to present 
preliminary talks about their findings.

Everyone attending MSSPR this year will have a complimentary ticket to 
attend The Rock Concert: A Celebration of Deep Time, a performance by the 
Jazz Passengers in commemoration of the discovery of the oldest terrestrial 
thing, a zircon dated to 4.404 Ba.  This concert is being held immediately 
after our conference banquet Saturday night, April 9th.  More information
