Dear Peter,

Thanks for this contibution to the list. The discussion on
evolution/creation on paleonet is (understandably) often a quite hostile
one. Hostility is applied by both creationists and "evolutionists". Good to
see that somebody tries to build bridges from the start rather than first
making a gap and trying to make up for it later. I don't care whether you
are a layman or a professional. As far as I can see your essay was well
thought over and this is what counts. As for the points that you wanted to
make...To make a long story short, I find them very useful, and I think that
anyone who reckons that he or she is objective would apprceciate these
ideas.
