Hi folks- I just got an inquiry from a high school student looking for on-line paleontology courses. UR does not offer any. Does anybody have any information on this? Is the University of Rochester offering any online Paleontology courses in the near future? Unfortunately, I am unable to attend classes at a college at this point in time because of some medical conditions. I am finishing my last two High School courses (my school is a correspondence school) and my dream is to become a Paleontologist. Hopefully in the near future I will be able to participate in some learning adventures at dig sites. At this point in time it just isn't feasible. I am preparing to start on online Geology course through Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in Indiana, which is where I'm from. I would like to take some classes for my own self-fulfillment and to also prepare me for when I will be able to attend college.
