Without meaning to
butt in on a difficult time on your side of the Pacific, I could not restrain
myself from taking issue with something Cary Easterday said, i.e.: “…but
explained that Creationism is based on faith and Evolution is based on
observation and testing. They don't
have to conflict.” This is incorrect.
Creationism purports to explain something about the natural world despite being
a religious belief and it is based on absolute disregard, or disparagement of
observation and experiment. Evolution is based on observation and experiment.
The latter is most likely true, the former is a load of tripe. One could just
as logically stated that the flat earth theory does not conflict with the
observed and experimentally confirmed interpretation of it as an oblate
spheroid. The former theory is tripe, the latter is most likely correct. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Petroleum and Marine Division GEOSCIENCE Street Address: ABN 80 091 799 039 |
