All,
For any of you interested in the article by S. W. Williston
(1900) on the Cretaceous sharks and pycnodonts, I just discovered that the
Kansas Geological Survey has placed the paper up on their website in
both HTML and .pdf format:
Williston, S. W. 1900. Cretaceous fishes: Selachians and
Pycnodonts. University Geological Survey Kansas VI pp. 237-256, with
pls.
Original copies of this article, which includes some of the very first
photographs of sharks teeth ever published, are becoming increasingly hard
to find.
Although getting somewhat dated after a hundred years, it is still an
excellent resource.
Regards,
Mike Everhart
