To all you North American viewers of Jeopardy! (and elsewhere as well), During Ken Jennings' amazing run on the show, how often did paleo-related answers pop up? For that matter, throughout its entire history, was paleontology a popular category? I'm asking this because I just came from a geology curriculum workshop and one of the topics was how to make the general Philippine public more aware, and appreciative of geology, including paleontology. Also, did you know that a certain Canadian company sells recrystallized ammonites as the organic gemstone ammolite? I found this in a Google search. Raymond Thaddeus C.
