Assistant Professor in Paleontology:
The Department of Geosciences at the State University of West Georgia seeks a Paleontologist for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2005. Candidates in all fields of paleontology are welcome. Teaching duties will include an upper-level course in invertebrate paleontology and may include oceanography, physical geology, historical geology and/or other courses, depending upon candidate’s specialty. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Applicants should submit a letter summarizing research interests and teaching philosophy as well as a curriculum vita, copies of transcripts (official copies required upon hiring), and names of three professional references.
