All interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals for special sessions on all aspects of evolutionary geobiology to the American Geophysical Union Program Committee by June 10, 2004. These sessions would fall under the umbrella of the rapidly growing Biogeosciences Section of AGU. The meeting (December 13-17, 2004) is an excellent international venue for showcasing new work in evolutionary paleobiology, and has experienced a real revitalization of this field in recent years. Over 10,000 attendees are expected this year. The attractions of San Francisco outside the convention center doors are well known to all, including collections at the University of California Museum of Paleontology and California Academy of Sciences. Please contact me with any ideas for special sessions. More information is available at http://www.agu.org/meetings/fm04/ and on-line proposal forms can be accessed at http://www.agu.org/meetings/fm04/?pageRequest=program_abstracts#sp ____________________________ John F.
