RE: paleonet Nomenclature - Point of order



In the absence of Latin dictionaries, it always pays to look up in English 
ones (English is Latin with anglicized endings).

Latin perniciosus = English pernicious (= injurious, destructive, harmful, 
damaging detrimental, noxious, baneful, deleterious)
