paleonet Downtime

The NHM suffered a server failure last Thursday that brought all the 
listservers it hosts down, including PaleoNet. The failure was 
hardware related necessitating the purchase, delivery, and 
installation of new equipment . This was done with admirable speed by 
the NHM IT staff and the list came back up on or around 18:40 
yesterday (London time). If you tried to post anything to the list 
between last Thursday and Monday it was probably bounced back. In any 
event, please repost to the same old PaleoNet address and things 
should work this time.

Many thanks to Chris Sleep, Eviano Afiemo, and any others of whom I'm 
not aware, for their efforts on PaleoNet's behalf. And thanks to you 
for sticking with us through another hiccup. We'll now continue to 
move steadily forward, into the past.
