paleonet PS Short Course and Topical Session on Ostracoda

Title: paleonet Attachments

Dear All Paleonetters--

Below is information regarding the Paleontological Society Short Course and Topical Session on Ostracoda that will be convened at this year's Geological Society of America Meeting in Seattle, Washington on November 1 and 2.  If you have any questions regarding these two events, please feel free to contact me at lepark@uakron.edu, Alison Smith at asmith@kent.edu or Gene Hunt at eghunt@ucsd.edu.  The Topical Session is co-sponsored with the Limnogeology Division of GSA.

We look forward to seeing you there!  We will be dedicating the short course and its volume to the late Richard Benson.  The Short Course Notes will be available for purchase through the Paleontological Society for about $20 US and will include a dedication chapter to Dick.

Also, as you are making your travel plans to GSA this year, please note that the PS has approximately 18 oral sessions and 2 poster sessions scheduled that run from Saturday through Wednesday afternoon.  Detailed scheduling information for the entire PS portion of the meeting will be posted next week.

Kindest regards,
Lisa Park
