Paleontology Collection Manager

The Geology/Paleontology section of the University of Colorado Museum 
invites applications for the position of Collection Manager.  The 
paleontology collections focus on the Rocky Mountain region and include 
nearly 100,000 specimens of vertebrate, invertebrate, plant, and trace 
fossils.  Strengths of the collection include Mesozoic marine 
invertebrates, and Cenozoic mammals, insects, and plants.  The section 
has three active curators of paleontology, and the collection manager 
assists these curators in the management of paleontological 
collections.  Duties include specimen preparation, cataloguing and 
database management, conservation, loan processing, visitor assistance, 
supervision of volunteers and students, and general maintenance of the 
collections.  Applicants should have a Master’s degree in a relevant 
field, or Bachelor’s degree and two years experience working with 
museum collections. 100% Professional Exempt position, with a salary of
