Re: paleonet anti-evolutionism & a flat earth



This thread is losing contact with paleontology, so unless there is a request for further discussion on the list, I will reply individually.  One point should probably be clarified, though:

This was written in reference to Mysterious Origins of Man and similar productions.  Hare Krishnas oppose evolution because they think humans have been reincarnating for hundreds of millions of years.  The Mysterious Origins of Man TV show cited some of the stuff that even many young-earthers admit is bogus, such as the purported association of human and dinosaur footprints, in an effort to show that humans were around in the Cretaceous.  Their desire for cyclicity will not be satisfied by iterative evolution.
