Re: paleonet Butvar-76 vs. Acryloid-B72

Ken,
Thanks a lot for the information. I have only been able to locate 100 lb
sacks, and 55 gallon drums of the stuff. (Those are just a pinch larger than
I need for my own use.) Glad to hear vinac is still out there. That's the
"stuff I started on".
While I'm thinking about it, I hope to begin an independant study late
this summer. I'll be focusing on studying and restoring a Mastodon that was
found by a buldozer opperator (ouchh!!). As you may imagine, it needs a
little help. Any thoughts or insites on consolodating and restoring such
porus material? (~8000 years old) I'm thinking of using a taxidermy compound
to fill in the large spaces. Any idea on a good brand- or a better
suggestion?
Thanks again,
John Van Regenmorter
