Re: paleonet Diatom/foram nomenclature

Martin,

The original foram reference you are looking for is

Rosalina parkinsoniana D'Orbigny. 1839, p. 99., pl. 4, figs. 25-27.

Loeblich & Tappen illustrate a nice specimen as Ammonia parkinsoniana
from the Timor Sea on p.165, pl. 368.

refs

Orbigny, A. d'. 1839. Foraminieres. In Ramon de la Sagre. Histoire
physique, politique et naturellee de i'ile de Cuba, Paris, Arthus
Bertrand, 1-224.

Leoblich AR & Tappen H. 1994. Foraminifera of the Sahul Shelf and Timor
Sea. Cushman Foundation for foraminiferal research, Special Publication
no. 31, 1-661
