			    In Systematic Paleontology
	
	In recognition of the importance of basic systematic research to 
the science of paleontology, the Paleontological Research Institution is 
once again proud to be able to offer support to a deserving graduate 
student for systematic research. 

	An award of $500 is available to a graduate student pursuing 
research in any area of systematic paleontology. Send a 500-word 
description of research project together with a letter of recommendation 
from the primary research advisor to:
