Some years ago, I put together some data for teaching a Sedimentology/Stratigraphy class at Union College. I've heard from some folks that they're using it for their Paleo courses. It has the distribution of some taxa plotted over chronostratigraphic cross-sections. I can't tell you exactly how they've adopted it, but I've used it to demonstrate dependency on fossils (and the organisms they represent) on environment.

By the way, I have lost control of the site, and it needs to be updated. Would anyone be interested in hosting an updated edition?
