paleonet IAS INTERNET DIRECTORY OF SEDIMENTOLOGISTS

Dear colleagues,

this is another call for registration to the IAS INTERNET DIRECTORY OF
SEDIMENTOLOGISTS at http://www.paleoweb.net/ias

This internet directory aims to support cooperation between
sedimentologists. It allows you to present your work on the web and to
search for colleagues working on certain topics. If you want to be
present or if you are looking for cooperation, this is the easiest and
fastest way. The handling is very easy because you can select from a
list of default keywords.

Within one month there have been more than 750 visits and registrations
of colleagues from 29 countries, which demonstrates the general
acceptance of our database.

Please do not hesitate to visit http://www.paleoweb.net/ias and submit
your data!

> New on this page:
There is a keyword-searchable list of sedimentological internet-links,
where you can add your own links to sedimentological web-resources, and
there is a guest book where you can tell us what you think about the
directory (and we hope that you will do so)

> Final remarks concerning some former requests:
Please note that this service is not restricted to IAS members and that
adding your record does not mean that you apply for an IAS membership.
We did not automatically add any of the IAS members to this directory.
Everybody has to decide by him/herself, whether he/she wishes to be
present on-line, or not.

Please contact michael.rasser@paleoweb.net for any further questions.

With best regards,
Michael
