Dear Paleonetters,

watch out, here comes a second one, this time on rodents:

A PhD position in Vertebrate Paleontology/Biology is available beginning
January 1st, 2002, for research on the phylogeny of the arvicoline rodents.

improve the understanding of the evolution and migration of this rodent
group which is crucial for terrestrial stratigraphy of the Quaternary.

paleontology, organismic biology, or molecular biology, as evidenced by a
Masterīs degree, Diploma, or equivalent in one of these fields.

The successful PhD applicant will be expected, in addition to her/his own
