Concerning your request for information on biostrat work on Egyptian Paleocene,

  Birger Schmitz, Univ. Goteborg, Dept. Marine Geology, S-41381 Goteburg, Sweden

He and his group have done detailed work on 10-20 Paleocene sections in Egypt. 
He could provide important information and get you in contact with 
biostratigraphers working on Paleocene.
